Resident Imam, Derrick Ali, has been Resident Imam of the Muslim Center for over 15 years.  He was educated at Wayne State University in Islamic Studies and Arabic.

Abdullah El-Amin is one of the founding members of the Muslim Center and has served in various capacities since then, including Chairman.

Imam Momodou Ceesay is a West African Gambian and is the spiritual leader of the Gambian community, who are also members of the Muslim Center.  Imam Ceesay comes from a long line of Islamic scholars in Gambia which is very helpful in the spiritual education of the mosque.
